Educational Therapist

An Ed Therapist provides the spectrum of services needed, in order to remedy their clients’ specific, individual needs:  “Collaborative, Individual Intervention”.

 

Collaborative

None of us “KNOWS ALL, SEES ALL”. The best Ed Therapist is one who is most adept at “Quarterbacking” the Team of providers usually involved in a Student’s (Client’s) education (with Parents, “Team owners”).

 

Teachers, Psychologists, Speech and Language, even School Administrators and others, each having our specialty "Position", all collaborating to produce the best Plan for

the Client.

 

Individual

Far more than simply a reference to our Client (Student), “Individual” embodies the very purpose of our Profession: Success in life, that our Client builds for themselves when the Team lays a good foundation.

 

Intervention

Even the very best Plan has little value, unless it then guides Client intervention.

Tailored Intervention is the job of the professional Educational Therapist.
